NBA insider pumps brakes on Giannis-to-Spurs rumors, saying San Antonio unlikely to trade prized young assets despite tantalizing pairing.

The idea of watching Giannis Antetokounmpo in a jersey other than the Milwaukee Bucks would feel surreal. Yet with trade rumors surrounding him resurfacing, that scenario is increasingly plausible.

Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the headlines over the past 24 hours after deleting the majority of Milwaukee Bucks-related posts on his social media accounts.

But according to "The Ringer" founder Bill Simmons, the San Antonio Spurs are the wild card in the Antetokounmpo bidding war. "That's like a brain-breaker trade. Just putting Wemby and Giannis on the same team is like," said Simmons, who seemed at a loss for words just thinking about that possibility.

Jaren Jackson Jr. invoked Game of Thrones in light of the Memphis Grizzlies' recent hot stretch.
