NEW ORLEANS, La. – The fifth-ranked LSU women’s basketball team defeated New Orleans, 126-62, on Sunday afternoon inside the Lakefront Arena. The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, Dec. 13 to face Louisiana Tech. The game will tip off at 5:00 p.m. CT inside the Smoothie King Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Western Kentucky is in town to face the Tigers (6-4) in the last home game of their lost 2025 season. The Hilltoppers (8-2) are 24.5-point underdogs to LSU, but they’re one of Conference USA’s top teams, and they have an offense that’s producing more yards per game than all but about a couple dozen FBS teams.
The LSU Tigers and Lane Kiffin closed out the early signing period on Friday with a fantastic showing, getting several crucial defensive line recruits to put pen to paper. Their defensive line group in this upcoming recruiting class is among the best the school has ever seen.
