As one of the 2026 World Cup's three hosts, Canada was pre-assigned into Group B. The Canadians are one of 12 teams included in Pot 1 of the draw alongside fellow hosts the United States and Mexico and the remaining nine highest-ranked sides in the FIFA standings.
The pots have been finalized, and the 2026 World Cup draw is around the corner. For Canada, that means finally learning who they’ll play in the opening group match in Toronto and then in the second and third fixtures in Vancouver. The biggest World Cup in history means big possibilities for one of its three co-hosts.
